Well I can already tell that this post will probably just be some random chattering about a little bit of everything.

Fall (or shall I say “Autumn” in honor of all of my Australian/New Zealand friends!)…Fall has officially arrived here in Kentucky. The leaves aren’t changing quite yet, but the temperature is definitely dropping. Most mornings it’s in the 40s or 50s, and I wander around the house in long pjs and a big fuzzy robe. I’m loving it really. The cold weather is giving me what I have decided to call “Christmas Fever”…where I just want to bake cookies and listen to Christmas music and cuddle on the couch with hot cocoa. Although, today my choice is some hot apple cider.

My hubby and I joined our new church here in Kentucky. It’s a very small but very nice Baptist church with plenty of opportunity to grow spiritually as well as get involved in the future. We are so blessed that God directed our steps to this church from the very beginning of our PCS. Thanks to Google, I actually bookmarked the church as a strong possibility way back in spring of 2008 before hubby even deployed to Afghanistan. Now a year and a half later we have found our new church home.

Today Russ and I made the final arrangements and payments to pick up our 2nd vehicle, an older white Honda Accord. Now that we have two Honda Accords I’m thinking that we need to name them to distinguish them…like Bonny and Clyde or something like that. Haven’t talked to the hubby about that though.

Last weekend my parents came down for a very nice visit. They brought down some furniture and my mom and I spent some “girl time” decorating the living room and kitchen. I took some pictures but still have to hang a few more curtains before I take the rest of them and post them on here. My dad and I also planted some more mums in the backyard.
