(: A Merry Heart :)

If you are a Christian and on Facebook, then you have probably had the opportunity to watch one or more of Youtube videos by Christian comedian Tim Hawkins. Well, a few weeks ago I introduced my hubby to the videos, and he spent probably two hours one afternoon laughing his head off at the videos. I “became a fan” of Tim Hawkins on Facebook to keep track of when new videos came out. Last week I was checking my Facebook updates and saw that Tim Hawkins was going to be in our area this weekend. I called Russ, and he told me he would LOVE to go! So we bought three tickets and joined my brother at the show. We got there an hour and a half early which was a good call on hubby’s part…we got 2nd row seats!

The show was great…although if you’ve seen him on youtube, it’s pretty much the same…just a longer show. We heard a lot of the same things like the “Chick-fil-A” and “Free Credit Report” parodys, as well as the “Things You Don’t Say To Your Wife Song” but there was also a lot of standup comedy that we hadn’t heard before. Russ laughed so hard he cried, and my face was a little stiff after the show from laughing too! We got to meet him after the show as well.It was good to get out and LAUGH!!
