This post is something I meant to post a while back and never got around to it.

Living this military lifestyle definitely has it’s challenges…it’s hard! But it also gives our family some AMAZING opportunities and privileges that others do not have. One such opportunity was given to us by the organization called Operation Love Reunited.

“OpLove is a 100% VOLUNTEER group of professional photographers that donate their time and efforts towards portraits of families in which a member is being deployed for military service.”

One such photographer is Natalia of Chocolate Box Photography. Natalia offered her services to our family to take professional “family” pictures for us back in July. I say “family” (in quotations) because we were missing a member! But she sent a photo book of the photos to my husband in Afghanistan, free of charge! She did an amazing job with Ezra and I, even if it was one of the hottest evenings of the year. It was close to 100 degrees and about 100% humidity (she shot the last few photos just as it was starting to rain)!
