Hello lovely readers. (Yes, I mean YOU!)
I have spent the last few weeks looking back over the last year and forward into the coming year and looking at this blogging space has been no exception in that process. I want to make sure that I stay true to this blog’s mission statement and stay consistent as a blogger who delivers encouraging content while still being vulnerable, flexible, and true to what my readers might want or expect of me and this space.
With that in mind, I have a few things I’d like to bring to your attention:
1. I’ve added a weekly digest of posts. This is for the person who doesn’t want to miss a post, would like to receive by email, but would rather not have to wade through multiple emails each week. Simply subscribe, and at the end of the week you will receive ONE email with a summaries of and links to each post for the week.
2. At the beginning of January, I will be publishing my first monthly newsletter. This is going to be a very unique option for my readers.
My blog has taken a different direction than what it used to be (family news, updates, and photos) and has turned into more of an outlet for me to develop my writing and encourage people. I’m hopeful that the newsletter might fill the gap left by what my blog used to be.
The newsletter will be filled with far more personal content: family news that I might rather not share with an ever-growing public audience, an occasional photo, and other random things (such our Netflix favorites, products such as books or apps I recommend, the occasional life-hack or recipe, etc.) I invite you to subscribe to the newsletter. All you have to do is click here and put in your email address.
3. I’ve put together a reader survey. This is a series of questions so that I can get to know this audience and how you interact with this blog. None of the questions are mandatory (you can answer only the ones that you feel comfortable with) and it’s all anonymous. There’s no place to enter your email address or name so here’s the place to offer constructive criticism that you might not be willing to offer in another place. I would love and value your feedback. The survey can be found here.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and offer your feedback. I appreciate each and every one of you!
