I’m a 30-something millennial mom living in the Triad area of North Carolina.
My husband is a combat veteran who has an anxiety disorder. I am his designated caregiver and deal with secondary anxiety, adrenal fatigue, and severe food allergies. We have an active, adorable son who has ADHD and behavioral problems. We face a lot of challenges, but our love is strong.
My religious background is very conservative Independent Fundamental Baptist. Now, I consider myself to be in recovery from legalism, fundamentalism, and perfectionism. I’m still trying to figure out what I believe and what faith should look like for me. This blog is a huge part of my faith journey.
About My Blog:
Beautiful In His Time is a very personal space where my goal is to share my experiences of finding God’s beauty in my mess. I do this for my own personal growth, but also in hopes that I can encourage others to do the same: I hope that you, too, can open your eyes to the beauty that God has for you, in spite of your mess.
