Moving Day Monday

I sit on the semi-cool floor in an almost empty kitchen, drinking a little bit of pepsi, with my computer on my lap. It’s a hot day…high of 97. It’s cooled down a bit…it’s 95 now.

Last night after church I spent until 1:30AM cleaning and organizing, got about 5 hours of sleep, and then worked from 6AM til 11:30 when the packers came. They had told me they would be here between 10 and 11, but I prayed that they would be late…God cooperated. They came JUST as I was folding the last articles of clothing. Since then I’ve pretty much been trying to stay out of the way.

The day has gone extraordinarily smooth. The movers are just moving out the last few boxes and such. Russ is almost done outprocessing, and we don’t expect any delays to our planned Wednesday morning departure.

I’m exhausted, my feet are throbbing, and my back hurts from sitting on the floor, but God is sooooo good!! I can tell people have been praying for us a lot today, and we really appreciate it. God has taken care of us amazingly!
