How we’ve made it through seven years of marriage

This coming Tuesday it will be 4 years since my Grandma Carol went to heaven. This verse was one of 3 of her favorite verses that I had printed for her funeral. I selfishly picked designs that would complement the colors in my home, so I could keep and continue to display them.
Ezra grew again last night. With us both barefoot, our noses are at the same level.
I won four games of Guess Who against the birthday boy, so he handcuffed me and put me in “couch jail.” Such a raw deal. Do not recommend. #momlife #boymom #boymomlife

It’s fun being a mom to bigger boys. Dear mamas, it does get easier. At least a little bit.
So after having several inches of rain flood our garage at 10pm Saturday night and again at 6pm last night, Russ and I went on a mission to diagnose the problem. The problem was that all the pipe running from our driveway drainage culvert out to the street was either twisted, broken, cracked, or full of dirt and roots. We were racing another afternoon/evening of forecasted thunderstorms as well as working in 90+ degree heat and (currently) 57% humidity. I’m really not sure how we didn’t die. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is physically the hardest and most exhausting day I’ve had in years.
