40 Weeks Pregnancy Bumpdate

August 27, 2015 by Aprille 7 Comments

I’ve officially made it to (and past) my due date. I’m thrilled, honestly.  This has been a great pregnancy. Such a night and day difference from Ezra’s pregnancy. I look back over my pregnancy photos (which there have been many…not sorry at all!), and see how much I’ve accomplished. Stuff like climbing to the top … [Read more…]

38 Weeks Pregnancy Bumpdate

August 17, 2015 by Aprille 3 Comments

I’m nearly 39 weeks pregnant, and have decided to give another update to help pass the time. (37 Weeks) I’m managing to stay very active, continuing to walk several days each week and attending prenatal yoga class once a week. This is THE thing that is keeping me going. At 37 weeks, my yoga instructor … [Read more…]

31 Weeks Bumpdate!

June 24, 2015 by Aprille 4 Comments

How are you feeling?!?! The question comes frequently. And at 31 weeks now, I’m slightly surprised when I hear myself say, “Pretty good!”  On Sunday, when someone asked me, “So are you ready to have that baby? Are you ready for it to be over?” again, I was surprised that my immediate answer wasn’t to … [Read more…]

Beauty in the Mess ~ Edition 05.10.15 {and a very long general life update}

May 10, 2015 by Aprille 3 Comments

The last six weeks have been full…in the best of ways. I was very scared when Ezra graduated from inpatient therapy that the transition for our family would be overwhelming. But it hasn’t been. It’s been okay. It really has. The first week was the hardest, I think. For me, mostly. I had to adjust … [Read more…]

A few things I learned in April 2015

May 1, 2015 by Aprille Leave a Comment

Wow. April was such a full month for us. And in a lot of the best ways. I’ll go on to share some of these things in my next edition of Beauty in the Mess, but here are some things I learned along the way. 1) Ezra’s behavior really has improved. There’s knowing that it … [Read more…]

Beauty in the Mess ~ Edition 06.04.14

June 4, 2014 by Aprille 1 Comment

Can I just take a moment and rave about how great the past few weeks have been? I’m not really sure what has made the difference. Maybe it has something to do with warmer weather, or maybe the new supplement my husband is taking, or maybe the fact that we got to take a vacation and … [Read more…]
