I am made in the image of God, and that is beautiful. Every person has within him or her the image of God. It is our role…our job as His creation to bear that image well and show that image to those around us. Order is part of God’s personality. When I lean in to those parts of myself that He created, I am demonstrating that part of Him in my life. Whether you are a “type A mama” or disorganized, beautiful mess, I pray that you feel God’s love upon your life and find ways to bear His beautiful image in your personality.

Here it’s different. There is ROOM and SPACE and I feel like I can breathe.
We are coming home to a home that is not ours – yet will be ours and we will make it home.
I would be lying if I said that the transition has been easy. But God has definitely made this place our home.
I’m here, in my new hometown. I have the keys to my new home on my key ring. I’ve checked my new mailbox twice. I’m here.
I’ve been making excuses to visit my apartment. Today’s excuse was lining the shelves in the kitchen. I ran out of shelf paper, which means I have to go back. And when I’m there, I’m glad to be there.
